About the Kentucky Colonel Council

The Kentucky Colonel Council is an independent association and cooperative body of Kentucky colonels from around the world who are responsible for defining the "rights, privileges, and responsibilities" collectively referred to as "benefits". As the official registered historical narrative origin and source of the "Kentucky Colonel Story" and the "Office of the Kentucky Colonelcy" we are the only decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) equipped with the appropriate blockchain knowledge and technology to manage an international presence.

The Kentucky Colonelcy Project is a dedicated initiative to reclaim the true history and significance of the esteemed "Kentucky Colonel" title. We believe that this iconic symbol of Kentucky's heritage has been obscured by misinformation, commercialization, and a fabricated narrative perpetuated by the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels (HOKC).

Dispel the Myths: We are committed to challenging the HOKC's distorted narrative and exposing the inaccuracies and fabrications that have obscured the true legacy of the Kentucky Colonel for nearly a century.
Educate and Empower: We strive to educate current and future Kentucky Colonels about their rightful heritage, empowering them to reclaim their connection to the rich history and traditions of the title.
Celebrate the Legacy: We aim to celebrate the diverse and inspiring stories of Kentucky Colonels throughout history, highlighting their contributions to the Commonwealth and the values they embody.
Foster Community and Connection: We seek to create a vibrant and inclusive community of Kentucky Colonels, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose.

The Kentucky Colonel Handbook & Manual 3rd Edition (New)

At the heart of our project is the publication of the "Kentucky Colonel Handbook & Manual 3rd Edition" in 2025 and a new reference book being released in 2026. Together these landmark publications will serve as a comprehensive guide to the Office of the Kentucky Colonelcy, offering:

Wright, a dedicated Fourth Generation Kentucky Colonel, is the driving force behind this project, his great uncle was one of the first Kentucky Colonels under Governor William O'Connell Bradley. His passion for history, his commitment to truth, his family roots, and his unwavering belief in the importance of preserving Kentucky's heritage have inspired him to embark on this journey of discovery and reclamation.
